"The Bible has been given to us by God to teach us wisdom that will lead us to salvation. It was written under the inspiration of God's Spirit, and teaches truth, tells what is evil, corrects us, and is useful to lead us into the path of righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16
The Christian way is a personal relationship with God, which involves a change (gradual or sudden) from the kingdom of self to God. His will becomes supreme. That will is interpreted to us in Christ. To be a Christian is to be a Christ-ian - to be committed to Christ in surrender and obedience.
The Christian way will give you personal relations with a person - you will no longer be orphaned, estranged, out of gear with reality. You will find forgiveness and cleansing from all fears, resentment, guilt, inhibitions and complexes. You will have the sense of inner unity - no longer at war with yourself.
You will find the tyranny of self-centeredness broken; you will begin to think of others; you will be a person who cares. You will find yourself part of a kingdom that is reality itself. You will have a cause - the kingdom - and that cause will be embodied in a person-Christ.
Your faith will be at once personal and social. It will give you power not merely to bear trouble, suffering, and frustration, but to use them and transmute them into character and usefulness. Abundant Living, E Stanley Jones.
Millions have tested this way and find it works. It is your chance now to taste it, if you have not already!
The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
“There is dynamite in literature”, says George Verwer. Having been saved through the ministry of literature, he has this interesting story to tell:
“ When I was 14 I received through the post a copy of the Gospel of John, sent by a dear Christian lady who believed that God answers prayer and who believed in the power of the Gospel in the printed form. For two years I read that little booklet regularly until, at an evangelistic meeting, I was ‘born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God (I Pet. 1:23)”.
The Story Behind This Website
The need for Christian literature is obvious when we see the multitudes which have been and are being saved through them. This website was born through a burden for the Hindi-speaking population (73% of India's) who are yet to experience the visitation of God in their lives. As surely as the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, this ministry is an expression of faith in God to fulfil that future event, contributing to Hindi natives’ salvation.
In the words of Gene Edwards, America's Best Loved Story Teller, there are four men who, in the twentieth century, were the rare breed of dissenters, men who emerged outside the institutional church and became great contributors of new things. They are Watchman Nee of China, Prem Pradham of Nepal, Bakht Singh of India and T. Austin Sparks of Great Britain. While Watchman Nee wrote over 200 books and Austin Sparks over 100, Bakht Singh authored 28 though he wrote none of them himself, but his messages were condensed to the written word. They are all waiting to be discovered in India's national language.
Reaching this treasure to the unreached multitudes and meeting their need through translation and making available at a small gift the online downloadable version of the books written by such men, we begin with Bro. Bakht Singh's and Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones in Hindi and English. As we go on, the burden is also to upload audio books in English & Hindi. God-willing, other languages such as Punjabi, Bengali & Marathi will also come into production.
It is a great joy to know and do God's will, at any cost! This ministry was sparked when this writer began living in Mumbai, after having lived for a decade in Delhi and travelled extensively all over the north of India.
Seeing the hunger of souls for simple literature and how the last copies of Hindi books printed more than 25 years ago exhausted in a few weeks' time at the local church he was fellowshipping, he embarked on producing the printed word through an understanding with a large Christian publishing house. Eventually, all the older books were reprinted and new ones are being released.
The mission is to place this 'dynamite' across our land from East to West and to provide accessible literature for spiritual growth in all Indian languages from milk to strong food for the soul, both for the saved and the unsaved.
